Building a Future of Readers

Fewi Foundation’s Inaugural Project at Time Master School

On December 4, 2025, something truly beautiful happened in Abuja, Nigeria. With tears in our eyes and joy overflowing in our hearts, we at Fewi Foundation stood in a room that, just weeks before, had been empty and watched as the children stepped into their very first library. A modern, colorful, book-filled sanctuary built entirely from scratch for Time Master School.

This is the story of “Building a Future of Readers” our inaugural project, our deepest prayer answered and a moment we will carry in our hearts forever.

In places where hope can sometimes feel quiet and far away, we long to create gentle, life-changing first experiences. Experiences that whisper to a child’s heart: You are seen. You are precious. Your dreams matter. This library is one of those whispers made real a sacred space where curiosity is welcomed, where stories become bridges to bigger worlds and where the simple turning of a page can awaken confidence, stir joy and plant seeds for beautiful new beginnings.

The Miracle of Transformation

It started with bare walls and a room full of possibility. Our dear partners at Huganics poured their skill, their time and their hearts into every detail. Daily visits, careful planning and 14 days later, they turned emptiness into abundance. Vibrant walls, sturdy shelves reaching toward the ceiling, cozy corners bathed in soft light and thousands of books waiting patiently to be loved.

Books of adventure. Books of science and wonder. Books that celebrate African voices and heroes. Books that say to every child who walks in: There is a place for you here. Stay as long as you like. Dream as big as you dare.

Every step of this journey was covered in prayer. Every nail driven, every shelf filled, every color chosen was an act of love, a quiet offering of hope.

The Unforgettable Joy of Launch Day

Nothing prepared us for the sheer beauty of the moment the children walked in for the first time. Eyes wide, smiles unstoppable, they moved from shelf to shelf with reverence and excitement picking books, settling into corners and losing themselves in stories. That pure, radiant joy is the reason we do this work. In those precious moments, we witnessed dreams awakening, confidence growing and futures gently taking shape.

This library is a space where every child can dare to learn and where knowledge is accessible!

A Spark That Will Keep Burning

December 4, 2025, was not an ending. It was a beginning. A beginning of countless stories being read aloud. A beginning of confidence growing quietly in young hearts. A beginning of a future filled with readers who will one day lead, create, heal, and dream for others.

This is only Fewi’s first. There are more children waiting. More empty rooms longing to be filled with light. More first experiences waiting to be born.

If your heart has been stirred today if you feel even a whisper of joy from this story, we invite you to stay close. Pray with us. Walk with us. Believe with us. Together, we can keep building a future of readers, one open book, one open heart at a time.

With tears of gratitude and so much love,

Fewi's Christmas Project

The Ones Who Never Take a Break

As we settle into this new year 2026, with hearts still brimming from the magic of Christmas, we at Fewi Foundation find ourselves reflecting on a project that touched us deeper than words can capture. On the early hours of December 25, 2025, while many rested in the warmth of family celebrations, we took to the streets of Abuja to honor “the ones who never take a break” those quiet heroes who stand guard, clean our cities, vend at dawn and serve tirelessly because their next meal depends on it.

This Christmas, we wanted to whisper to them: You are seen. You are valued beyond measure. Love has come looking for you, right where you are.

Reaching Out to the Unseen Heroes

In a season of rest and feasting for so many, these men and women show up without choice or complaint. Security guards watching through the night, cleaners rising before sunrise, vendors ready for the day’s first customers. They are the backbone of our communities, yet often the most overlooked.

Last year, Fewi set out to change that, even if just for one morning. We carefully prepared hampers filled with nourishing food, everyday essentials, and festive treats, little luxuries wrapped in love and prayer. Our goal was simple yet profound: to surprise people who were on duty during Christmas with their first Christmas hamper experience, bringing a moment of joy to those who give so much and rest so little.
As dawn broke on Christmas Day, our team hit the streets, hearts racing with quiet anticipation. What happened next was moments that left us humbled, teary-eyed and forever changed.

Moments That Will Stay With Us Forever

Approaching each person with warm greetings and open arms, we presented the hampers one by one. The reactions… oh, they were everything.

Eyes that had been weary from long shifts suddenly sparkled with disbelief, then overflowed with tears. Faces broke into the widest smiles, lighting up the early morning gloom. Voices rose in excitement, sharing stories and gratitude. And then came the hugs, laughter and joy that felt like little family reunions. Some even broke into little dances of joy, right there on the sidewalk.

Prayers flowed so freely, fervent blessings spoken over us hit us like heaven touching earth. One recipient, caught off guard, exclaimed in wonder, while others clutched their hampers close, whispering that no one had ever done something like this for them before.

These were more than gifts; they were bridges of connection, gentle reminders that no one is forgotten. In those sacred exchanges, loneliness melted into belonging, fatigue into delight. We witnessed love in action hearts healing through simple kindness.

Why This Theme Moves Us So Deeply

“The ones who never take a break” became our guiding light because it honors the resilience and sacrifice we often take for granted. In choosing them, we chose to carry light into quiet corners, to create first experiences of being celebrated when rest isn’t an option. It reminded us that true joy comes not just in receiving, but in seeing the unseen and saying, with our actions, Your labor matters. You matter.

This project was a beautiful reflection of Christmas itself the story of love coming unexpectedly to the humble, the working, the waiting.

Carrying the Light Into 2026
As we step into this new year, the echoes of those hugs, smiles, prayers, and dances linger a promise that kindness can always find a way. “The ones who never take a break” taught us anew about perseverance and grace, inspiring us to keep reaching out.

This is just one chapter. There are more heroes waiting, more moments of joy to create. If this story has stirred your heart, if you have felt the warmth of that Christmas morning, we invite you to stay with us. Pray, share, give, or join future outreaches. Together, we can keep reminding the world that no one is invisible, and love never takes a break.

Fewi's Valentine's Outreach

Still Loved

Dear friends and supporters of Fewi Foundation, As I sit down to share this, my heart is still overflowing from the beautiful moments we shared just a few days ago. On Wednesday, February 12, in the cool, welcoming embrace of Jos, Plateau State, we hosted our very first Valentine’s outreach dedicated entirely to widows. A small intimate gathering that turned a day often filled with reminders of loss into one brimming with gentle reminders of enduring love. Under the simple yet profound theme “Still Loved.” We brought together 10 precious widows. We treated them like the queens they are, sharing that even though their husbands are no longer here, God’s love for them has never faded, it is as steady and warm as ever. This event was not about grand gestures or crowds; it was about quiet, intentional acts of kindness that whisper to the heart: You matter. You are seen. You are still loved. We wanted to create a space where these women could honor their past loves, embrace the present and feel the unwavering embrace of God’s care. Let me take you through the day, step by step, as we relived it in that cozy hall in Jos.

The Vision Behind “Still Loved”

At Fewi Foundation, our mission has always been to carry the heart of Christ into places where hope feels a little distant. We create those precious “first experiences” that remind people their lives hold deep meaning, that they are loved and that kindness can spark joy and new beginnings. Valentine’s Day, with all its flowers and chocolates can be a tough reminder for widows their first without a partner or perhaps many years later when the ache still lingers. We drew inspiration from James 1:27: “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction…”. This verse isn’t just words; it’s a call to action to visit, to sit with, to love widows right where they are hurting. We chose Jos for its strong community spirit. Our goal is to show them that love is not just romance, it is service, it is showing up, it is a rose handed with a hug that says, “God’s love for you is still here, strong and true.”

The Journey to Jos

Planning this outreach started back in January, with prayers and partnerships guiding every step. We aimed small 10 widows to keep it personal, like a family gathering rather than a big event. Invitations went out, by February 11, 12 amazing women arrived, some traveling from far despite the mild Jos chill.

The venue was a cozy event hall, decorated softly with Fewi Colors and heart banners with “Still Loved” fluttering gently, fresh roses on tables as symbols of beauty that blooms even after storms. Soft music played in the background, setting a tone of peace from the moment they walked in.

Moments of Connection and care

The day began at 2:00 PM with warm welcomes hugs. We gathered in a semi-circle, making everyone feel close and included. We opened with a simple speech, sharing from the heart why we chose this day

Then came the sharing circle, an hour of gentle stories. Mamas opened up about their loves lost, the joys they remembered and the daily struggles. Tears flowed, but so did smiles. We prayed quietly and the room filled with that sacred sense of not being alone.

Gifts from the heart

The highlight? The gift presentation. Each mama received a fresh rose, vibrant red, symbolizing love that never fades handed personally with a hug and a spoken blessing: “You are still loved.” Attached was a card. We gifted beautiful wrappers (traditional fabrics they could use or cherish) and “sowed seeds” of financial support small envelopes to help with daily needs, a practical way to say, “We care about your tomorrow too.”

The excitement was palpable!. One mama even danced a little step of joy. It was that mix of tears and laughter, smiles through the emotion that made it touching, and the live moment even more so. No gathering is complete without food and our buffet was a feast of love! To honor their late husbands, we created a gentle photo collage

Gratitude and the Road Ahead

As we reflect, we are reminded that love is more than romance. It is showing up for those who need it the most. This is just the beginning; we are already dreaming of more ways to create these moments of hope. If this story warms your heart, share it, pray for us, or join our journey. Together, we can keep proving that no one is forgotten; everyone is still loved.

Fewi's Women's Health Project

Give To Gain

As March drew to a close in 2026, we stepped into a powerful truth, sometimes the greatest way to give is to help someone gain what they never knew they were missing.

This Women’s Month, under the beautiful national theme “Give to Gain,” Fewi Foundation chose to focus on something deeply personal and often hidden, the health of Nigerian women particularly the silent struggle with fibroids. Many women live with fibroids for years without knowing, enduring heavy bleeding, anemia, fatigue, and a quiet erosion of their energy and quality of life. The first step to healing is simply being seen and getting checked.

So we did something small but meaningful: we gave 2 precious women (1 in Abuja and 1 in Uyo, aged 23–33) their very first experience of comprehensive women’s health screening. A Pelvic Ultrasound Scan for fibroid detection, a Full Blood Count Test to check for anemia, a medical consultation, and follow-up support. No cost to them. No long waiting lists. Just dignified care wrapped in the love of Christ.

Why We Chose This Project

At Fewi Foundation, our heartbeat is to create first experiences moments when someone feels truly seen, valued and reminded that the love of Christ reaches into their lives. For too many women, reproductive health issues remain unspoken, unaddressed, and untreated because of cost, stigma or lack of access. We wanted to change that for six women this March. We targeted six women but we were not able to get that number that signed up, so we just opted to go ahead with the two women who signed up

We selected participants who had never had these screenings before. Some had been managing symptoms in silence for years. Others had no idea why they felt constantly tired or why their periods were so heavy.

The Day the Love Became Tangible

In both Abuja and Uyo, the process was gentle. Women arrived nervous but hopeful. They had never had a pelvic scan before. In the quiet consultation rooms, they were treated with dignity, respect, and genuine care. The medical teams (partnered with trusted facilities in both cities) explained everything clearly, answered every question patiently, and prayed with the women at the end of each session. Each participant left with: A clear diagnosis (or confirmation of good health), a personalized treatment plan, follow-up support from Fewi Team

Give to Gain,  Living Out the Love of Christ

This project was more than medical care, it was an act of worship. By giving these women early detection and proper information, we were helping them gain strength, peace of mind, energy, and a brighter future for themselves and their families.

In the spirit of James 1:27 caring for the vulnerable in their affliction, we stepped in quietly and said Let us carry some of this burden with you.

Gratitude from the Depths of Our Hearts

To our medical partners in Abuja and Uyo, thank you for opening your doors and treating each woman with dignity. To every supporter and Volunteer, we just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts

And to the two beautiful women who trusted us with their health, thank you. Your courage to show up and be seen has inspired us more than you know. We are committed to walking with you through your follow-up journey.

This Is Only the Beginning

“Give to Gain” reminded us that when we give freely, time, resources, attention and love, we always receive far more in return. We are already praying and planning how to expand this kind of quiet, life-giving care in the months ahead.

If this story has touched your heart, we invite you to join us. Whether through prayer, a one-time gift, or sharing this message, you can help more women experience the reality that they are seen, valued and deeply loved by God and by a community that refuses to look away.

Fewi's Easter Project

Jesus Paid It All

On Thursday, April 3, 2026, in the bustling heart of Kubwa Market, Abuja, Fewi Foundation lived out a simple but powerful truth: Jesus Paid It All.

While many were preparing for Easter celebrations with family, we chose to spend the early hours of the day in one of Abuja’s busiest markets not to buy but to give. In a quiet, intentional act of love, our small team approached 15 unsuspecting shoppers and paid in full for their groceries and food stocks. Just a gentle surprise that whispered the same message the cross has always carried: You do not have to carry this burden alone. Someone has already paid the price.

Reason for this Project

At Fewi Foundation, our deepest desire is to create “first experiences”  moments when someone feels truly seen, loved and reminded that the love of Christ is not distant or abstract but real, present and personal. Easter is the ultimate celebration of sacrifice and redemption. We asked ourselves: What if we could reflect even a tiny shadow of what Jesus did on the cross? What if in a small way we could step in and say, “Let me pay it for you today”?

That question led us to Kubwa Market on April 3. In a time when the cost of living continues to rise and many families stretch every naira to put food on the table, we wanted to meet people right where they were  in the middle of their daily struggle and offer a moment of unexpected relief. Not as a handout, but as a living picture of grace.

Moments in Kubwa Market

The market was alive with its usual energy: vendors calling out prices, the smell of fresh produce and spices filling the air. Our team moved quietly among the crowd.

One by one, we approached 15 different shoppers, mothers buying staples for their families, elderly people stretching limited funds, young traders trying to stock up for the day. We waited until they reached the point of payment, then gently stepped forward and told the vendor, “We will pay for this today.” The reactions were everything. Many asked, “Why?” and our simple answer was always the same: “Because Jesus paid it all for us. Today, we want to show you a small picture of that love”. Some were so happy and they told us that it was the first time they experienced this.

One woman,  when she realized the bill was settled. She kept repeating, “God, You see me. You really see me.”

We did not preach long sermons. We simply paid, hugged where hugs were welcomed and reminded each person that they are seen, known and deeply loved by God  even in the middle of a busy market on Good Friday.

Jesus Paid It All Living Out the Message of Easter

We chose those words deliberately. On the cross, Jesus did what we could never do for ourselves. He paid the ultimate price for our freedom, our forgiveness, and our future. In our own small, imperfect way, we wanted to echo that sacrifice in a practical and tangible form.

By covering the cost of groceries for 15 people that morning, we were not trying to replace the cross. We were simply pointing to it. We wanted every person we met to walk away knowing: If strangers can step in and pay your bill today, how much more has your Heavenly Father already paid for you through His Son?

The message of the cross is not just something we sing about on Easter Sunday. It is a story we are invited to live out every day  giving freely, loving without condition and reminding people that their burdens have already been carried.

Gratitude and What This Day Meant to Us

To the 15 beautiful souls we met in Kubwa Market thank you for allowing us to serve you. Your vulnerability and gratitude reminded us why we do this work. You are the reason we keep saying yes to these quiet acts of love. This Easter project in Kubwa Market was not an isolated event. It is part of Fewi Foundation’s ongoing commitment to create first experiences of God’s love in the everyday places where people live, work, and struggle.

If this story has stirred something in your heart, we invite you to join us. Whether through prayer, giving or simply sharing these moments, you can be part of writing more stories of unexpected grace. Because the message of Easter is not just for one day. It is for every day and it is for every person who needs to hear:
